Okay i’ve been playing this flash for half an hour now. I first went north and got the key from him. I then went down, making sure i went one direction once, and went to east and he said I didn’t keep my promise and he has no time for me. Reason I know of, I walked on the same path. But I didn’t even make that promise. So how could I break a promise if I didn’t make a promise? So I think you still need to fix some stuff in your coding.

Entirely beatable, and done by myself after a little puzzling.

You don’t have to remain faithful to your promises after you have what you want. No one can take your keys from you.

Mr West asks that *in the future* I don’t tread the same ground twice, but I’m punished for returning the way I came before making the promise. I think he should say that I mustn’t tread where I’ve trodden before.

TSK, I think you misunderstood what Mr North said: you can’t step in the same direction repeatedly, but you can alternate directions as much as you want (subject to other promises you’ve made).

I find this game impossible to beat.
The guy on the right says to never go east ever again. East is Right, so you HAVE to start with him. If you try the other 2 BEFORE him, he refuses to give you the key.

The guy on the left says to not tread the same ground twice. That means you can’t step on the white dots. The guy above says to not do the same direction twice in a row, which means you have to do those 4 directions only once. So that means you have to go from Right to Up to Left right?

WRONG! Because heres the dumb thing. I start by going up. The right has 2 openings, so ill call on Top right and another Bottom right. I move to the bottom right. When im near the guy, i don’t go right then up to talk to him. Instead, i go up and right. I accept. Im not treading the same path.

Then i go left. Again, 2 openings for the top, so it’s Left top and Right top. I go up from the Right top. When the guy is to my left, i press left and then accept. Then i go around him and go down the Top left. Still no treading the same path.

Then i go to Right Top and go left. I talk to him. I haven’t tread the same path once and guess what? HE REFUSES TO GIVE ME THE KEY! So… is this a glitch, is the game really unbeatable or am i missing something?
