What a strange ending. This game is challenging.
The mechanic felt like wiping boogers everywhere. Not that that’s a bad thing.
Ludum Dare?
That’s what the image caption says, so it must be true.
Hoho! I like the game!
Knowing your other games i was really scared when the step-jyke told the kid that it’s gonna get a present.
I think the game plays were well with the known concept of “blocks” and with the wish of the step-jyke to give the child which is not hers a hard time. It uses the rules (“easy rules”->”evil rules”) to tell about the relationship between child and jyke.
It also reminded me of anne anthropy and her ideas about games and sadism.
I mastered the logic of block pushing games when I was a child with the likes of The Adventures of Lolo, and Kickle Cubicle, so when I saw the name of this game, I thought to myself, “Tch! Oh ho! How simple this will be!” But with the added mechanic of the magnetic bracelet, the game turned out to be a unique challenge after all! The “story-line” was also entertaining and hilarious.
Ahhh, so much nostalgia in this. Reminds me of Sokoban ^^. We had so old computers back in my elementary school.. Running on Commander XD
Great game :D the magnetic bracelet mechanic was very creative :)
Cute game, just the right difficulty to kill a few minutes at work, but why so unnecessarily offensive?
Played this again this morning. It’s still wonderful. Today I got stuck on the level with with a ] and [ shape in the corners.
Today it was much easier. :)
AAAA the ending
cool puzzles

[…] Block Push Championship is a puzzle game made by increpare for the Ludum Dare 20 event, where the player’s objective is to push a set of blocks to their target spots in every level (marked by a red tile on screen). It plays rather similarly to most Sokoban remakes out there, but Stephen had also implemented a tiny change to meet the theme requirements of the LD competition as well. […]
